Singles Circle

The Singles Circle is a small group ministry at Davies UU Church.  We welcome individuals who are unmarried, widowed, divorced, separated or who are otherwise not in a committed relationship.  We foster the spiritual growth of our members through discussions of group-selected topics. 

Our meetings help us to provide support for the unique challenges and joys of being single.  Our primary goal is to get to know other single individuals and to provide a safe space to express thoughts, share experiences and listen to others.  Some of the topics we have discussed are:

What are your greatest hopes and fears?
What makes you different from everyone else?
What is the most significant way being single affects your life?
What does spirituality mean to you & how does it affect your life?
Whose am I?

We meet over light refreshments at either the church or at each other’s homes from

 7:30 to 9:00 PM

1^st Thursday of the month

This group has started CONCERNED CITIZENS FOR SINGLE PARENTS RIGHTS and they sponsored a seminar in the spring that they hope to become annual.
