Sunday Morning Worship Services

"I go to church ... because I fall below my own standards and needpulpit to be constantly brought back to them ... I must have my conscience sharpened--sharpened until it goads me to the most thorough and responsible thinking and action of which I am capable." -- A. Powell Davies

Upcoming sermons should now be listed on our calendar.

CDs ARE AVAILABLE of any Sunday service thanks to the efforts of Bill Grenoble and his computer. Suggested donation is $5. (If you would like your CD in an elegant jewel case with photo, the suggested donation is $15). Contact Roz Winard 301-449-3412.

INFORMATION FOR FIRST-TIME VISITORS:

* We have no dress code, but business-casual is typical, though children should dress for possible art projects and outdoor play.

* Services are from 10:30 - 11:30 on Sun. morning; they're usually intergenerational for the first 15 mins., then the children and youth go to religious education classes. We almost always have live music since we have an active choir and several musicians. More about our music from this link. (The front of the sanctuary is pictured above and is located to the right when you enter the building. It contains an art gallery.)

* The offertory basket is passed during the service, but donations are purely optional. Please come and be our guest without obligation.

* We often ask visitors to stand up and introduce themselves so that we can talk to you during coffee and refreshments following the service. If you feel uncomfortable standing up and introducing yourself, you can opt out, but please do stay after the service - we're a friendly bunch and always have plenty of refreshments.

* We also have a visitor book which you can sign and lots of literature behind the table - help yourself to the brochures of your choice.
