The members of Davies Memorial Unitarian Universalist Church consider many people to be our neighbors, such as our renters and those who live in the neighborhood. We believe in "the Golden Rule" as it is stated in many religious beliefs around the world (see statements) and we hope our fellow members will try to live by it. OTHER GROUPS MEETING AT DAVIES Davies Concert Series, 5 concerts throughout the year Islamic Society of Southern Prince George's County Islamic Society of Southern Prince George's County The Islamic Society of Southern Prince George's County meets on Sunday afternoons from 2 - 3 PM at the church, though it is not affiliated with the church. All are welcome. The group will hold congregational prayers; undertake and engage in religious, charitable, educational and cultural activities; promote friendly relationships between Muslims and non-Muslims; and foster a Muslim community based on Islamic principles of brotherhood, equality, mutual help and Islamic teachings of peace, love and justice. Other events, such as Arabic classes, are listed on the church's calendar. 301-567-3359 Abiding Word Ministries meets in the church on a regular basis for worship and Bible study. We all have the potential for self-transformation, and a limitless capacity for the growth of good qualities, but to fulfill this potential we need to know what to do along every stage of our spiritual journey. The Monday night general program, located in the library room at DMUUC, is hosted by the Vajrayogini Buddhist Center.
