DENISE BRENNER
Denise spent her early years and early adulthood as participant/teacher/director in Sunday School and Choir activities in Lutheran churches in Pennsylvania. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education at Lebanon Valley College in 1993, and moved to Baltimore to teach music in Baltimore County Public Schools until 2000. By the time she earned her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at McDaniel College in 2003, she was serving as Director of Educational Services for a private therapeutic foster care agency. In that capacity, she oversaw school advocacy, tutoring and mentoring programs serving 150 children in several states.

Since 2007, she has thoroughly enjoyed serving as Music Director at Davies Memorial Unitarian Universalist Church, directing the choirs and providing music to enhance weekly Worship Services, as well as other church events. More recently, she has become full-time Director of Religious Education and Music (DREAM) at Davies. She is excited every day about the opportunities to work with the congregation's children and youth, and creating connections between activities relating to Worship and Education in this vibrant and growing congregation!
