A talented pianist, Nancy has been attending Davies since 1990. She played for the choir twice per month, often accompanying musicians, has performed at Cafe Florian Open Mic and Davies Concert Series.

She said, "From the beginning, I have been active in the musical life of the church, sharing with Frances Wright the duties of pianist for the choir and for services, and collaborating with the many talented church musicians. I have also enjoyed participating in activities with the Davies Players, and have long been an active board member of the Davies Concert Series; in fact, that is one of the ways I came to know about the church. I participate in most of the bazaar and yard sales - save me your books! I served on the Board not long after joining the church and in that capacity learned much about the way Davies works. It was a valuable experience, and with the increased knowledge of the church's needs and goals I've developed over the years, I hope I will be able to make a further contribution.

"In other segments of my life, I work part-time as a librarian at Prince George's Community College, and I have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and two wonderful (of course) grandchildren." She retired in 2007, but still plays as a volunteer occasionally.
