The links to the right tell you about our director, musicians, choir, monthly open mic coffee house, and more. This page is about the actual music we use, particularly the hymns. We like to have a variety of genre, including jazz, classical, choral, folk, popular, country, mixed, and international. Here are some links to web sites and actual music clips of our songs for you to hear.:

SPIRIT OF LIFE is sung at most services. Children also interpret the song in sign language most Sundays. The lyrics include "Spirit of life come unto me. Sing in my heart all the stirrings of compassion. Blow in the wind; rise in the sea. Move in the hand giving life the shape of justice." Here is a link for an mp3 of the congregation singing it.

LET IT BE A DANCE is one of our favorite hymns. Ric Masten is the composer and you can read the lyrics on a site with a sermon about him, which includes "Learn to follow, learn to lead, Feel the rhythm, fill the need. To reap the harvest, plant the seed. And let it be a dance." Here is a link to an mp3 to listen to it on another site.

See a video of Sharon Crestwell and Joyce Dowling singing CHALICE SONG by Linda Olson Peebles on YouTube here - in harmony & sign language.

STANDING ON THE SIDE OF LOVE by Jason Shelton is the new "theme song" for Unitarian Universalism which we'll probably be singing often now. An outstanding recording of this song is linked on the publisher's site, Yelton Rhodes Music.
