ABOUT OUR DIVERSITY GROWTH PLAN

Diverse Congregation Welcomes YOU!Sunday is the most segregated time of the week. We're changing that here in Prince George's County where the African American population is over 62%. We, as Unitarian Universalists, believe in the worth and dignity of ALL people, and justice, compassion, and equity in human relations. We are learning how to be anti-racist and in right relationship with each other. If you're in the area, we welcome you to join us (see links to the right and below for more information). If you're already a member, see how you can help.

Hear a sermon, One Rock Many Ripples: Remembering Martin Luther King's Example (mp3 - 4.5 MB) by Rev. John Crestwell from Jan. 2005 or read from a large selection of his sermons.

See the full plan in MS Word for printing or in HTML to view in your web browser. Changes or progress on the plan since Jan.'05 are available on the Updates page.

See the cover letter signed by the Board Chair, Vice Chair, and Ministers. And the endorsement page signed by another 30 members.
